What is the error message ? For me, it works correctly in 2.0.0:

Me too; on version 2.0.1

It’s a generic CalculiX error. Try exporting the input file and submitting this simulation in the same version of standalone CalculiX. Instructions here: [Using standalone CalculiX](https://prepomax.discourse.group/t/using-standalone-calculix/846)

Was it the same version of CalculiX as the one used by PrePoMax which didn’t work (possibly, use 2.21) ? Maybe there were some other differences like the number of CPUs or solver (Spooles/PaStiX/Pardiso and so on). I’ve even seen issues in CalculiX where the analysis worked in some runs and failed in others.

v1.4.1 points to a ccx\_static
v2.0.0 points to a ccx\_dynamic
I downloaded from the link you provided to get the ccx\_static 2.21
I can use this standalone or point the settings to this file, both solutions work

In summary this works for Prepomax v2.0.0 as shown or v2.0.1 dev

 ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/free1/uploads/prepomax/original/2X/3/3c07c78e332b42e440a789e0975087a7ea8fe802.png)

But as downloaded, pointing the executable to the ccx\_dynamic file, did not work in either Prepomax v2.0.0 or as shown here v2.0.1 dev

What if you submit it outside of PrePoMax using this ccx\_dynamic executable referenced in PrePoMax settings ?

I can confirm that it also works for me for static and dynamic versions of CalculiX 2.21.

Might be good to ask about it on the CalculiX forum since it’s not a PrePoMax bug and there you are more likely to find someone with the same issue or even a solution.

If I specify spooles solver with the prepomax ccx\_dynamic executable I get results
 ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/free1/uploads/prepomax/original/2X/1/1f2d74d199c749526ae1a5e99ec262e78bc94e51.png)

With the calculix\_static executable I can keep as default or use pastix or spooles and get results

So maybe only Pardiso fails. Did you try PaStiX with ccx\_dynamic ?

ccx\_dynamic fails and tells me it’s trying to use Pardiso despite having Pastix as the option in the input file.
