Good Morning I hava an issue with the brick element in the link. I would like to run the simulation with the edges(“vertical” ones) constrainted with each other but, even though I insert all the Tie constraints from the menu, when I reach the simulation results the part is untied. I can’t figure out how to solve this issue since follwing the same steps with brick elements it works. The element is imported from an iges file.
Thank you for your attention.

In this case, I would definitely recommend creating a compound part from those separate shell parts. Then you won’t need tie constraints. But you may need this workaround when using IGES files (STEP is much better by the way): [Compound part from IGES surfaces is empty](https://prepomax.discourse.group/t/compound-part-from-iges-surfaces-is-empty/156)
