Hi devs, I would like to request following feature: To verify and quickly visualize internal elements, I really like the possibility in Ansys Mechanical to show the “full” elements on the section view plane. To do that In Abaqus, we just use Display Groups and hide the box-selected elements. Would be great to have an option to hide selected elements (in addition to parts) in PrePoMax: [Hide elements when viewing results](https://prepomax.discourse.group/t/hide-elements-when-viewing-results/1391) ---

Indeed, to hide box selected elements would also do the trick - probably with less effort for the implementation. Best, Stoli ---

I guess it could be based on element set creation and use the same selection methods (individual or box selection). Even allowing hiding elements by elsets without converting them to parts should be good enough. ---
