On an old FE pre-postprocessor (Roshaz) i found very useful the nodal force summation before launching the solver.
This is necessary for example when one works with a balanced loadings and minimal supports.
Another useful tool could be the application of parabolic or Gencoz distribution to holes

This feature can be helpful but in PrePoMax surface traction is typically used instead of concentrated force to apply load to surfaces (the latter is mainly applied to reference points of rigid body constraints). And there are no features for such advanced spatial distributions of nodal forces yet.

Parabolic stress distribution is not implemented also, currently linear distribution only by hydrostatic pressure features.

Regarding of force summation, another capabilities of CalculiX are use coupling type distributing. But still not as pre-calculation before the solver running as discussed.
