Hi all, I am sure I have done something wrong but I can’t figure out what.

I have a good size shell model using default material properties (S355) with a compound part. I also have the default outputs. The max stress is reported as 1.2E-11 despite there being significant deformation. I have tried running static with both linear and non-linear with the same result (or lack of results that is) I have done plenty of shell models before but never seen this. I had plastic properties applied which I thought might be the issue but that didn’t make any difference. I have run some other very similar models on this version of Propomax without any issue so I am really puzzled.

thanks
Luke

Maybe the model is unconstrained/underconstrained and there’s only rigid body motion. Run a frequency analysis to check it.
