# Input string was not in a correct format

Use PrePoMax V2.6.2, meshing was not finished. the error is input string was not in a correct format. Please see the model.Thanks.

For me, meshing completes without errors:

Maybe try with a first-order mesh, Gmsh or simplified geometry first.

Does the input string have anything to do with using Chinese fonts?

Yeah, there might be a problem with directories containing such non-ASCII characters. Can you try without them ? Also, make sure that PrePoMax and your work directory don’t require admin access.

Move PrePoMax to a simple folder location like c:\Temp for testing.

I put them in non-ASCII characters directories, but it still show this error.

What about admin rights ? Did you try from other folders that should have no access restrictions and their paths are as short and simple as possible ?
