# Compound part error

Hello all,

I am trying to use create compound part in my 68 pieced model but I keep getting ill parts. You can access to my model [-here-](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10c2puVH9EPtW2UPEsm5O9gjpUlnd1r-o?usp=sharing). Could you give me some advice?

I created it in Rhino and checked the intersections between them, and they looked connected to me. The boolean union works well too, it combines them into a single part, it wouldn’t do it if the connections were poor. Thank you for your time already.

Compound part creation may fail due to small misalignments: [Deformation in 2 or more bodies - #10 by Matej](https://prepomax.discourse.group/t/deformation-in-2-or-more-bodies/524/10)

It fails for me in Abaqus too.

Failed parts are marked with yellow warning sign, you could exclude them from Compound part creation and just put tie constraints there.

If there is no special reason, create 1 part in external CAD and import it.

Your patient looks symetric, I would suggest you work with half model and apply symmetry bc in case loads were also symmetric.
