_I prepared a contact model with mixed shelle elements and hexahedral solids._ _The analysis does not start because when the solver reads the mesh after correctly loading the shells, it crashes at the reading of the first element C3D8._ The file .12d ended with this line: ELEMENT 1428 with label "S4R " and with nodes: 1518 305 10 376 is expanded into a "C3D8R L " element with topology: 222462 216615 214938 217562 222464 216617 214940 217564 _The file .dat is enpty._ _There is no error message other than Failed on the monitor window_ ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/free1/uploads/prepomax/original/1X/408109593f3a2adc3600debbf2846f66acb908b9.png) _Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can figure out where the problem comes from ?_ _Thanks in advance to those who can give me any support._ ---

Try exporting the input file and running the analysis from the command line. Then check if there are any specific error messages.
