Hello, I’ve been trying to do a strength analysis. It went well even though I had pretty dense mesh, a lot of rigid bodies etc. . But after I added distributed mass and gravity load even though it converges and solves the analysis with no errors, whenever I try to open the results it gives me this error. I tried saving the file differently, changing the analysis name, ran it again and it still is the same. I found an older post about this but recommendations did not work for me. I would be so glad if someone can help me. Here is the file if you are interested: [https://drive.google.com/file/d/17KjPTqdbSxl5Dgl6sNOk\_oD0JWg8uAwm/view?usp=sharing](https://drive.google.com/file/d/17KjPTqdbSxl5Dgl6sNOk_oD0JWg8uAwm/view?usp=sharing)

I can confirm it, also in v2.5.1. However, I can open the .frd file in CalculiX GraphiX, so it’s not corrupted.

Regarding the analysis setup, it’s much better now, but we are still discussing the possible improvements (e.g. the way anchors are modeled).

There should be a separate Gravity load for mass section too.

Thanks for the feedback. So what should I do to bypass/fix this error message? I can not even open my previous analysis results even when I restart the computer, trying to open the frd file from temp folder etc. . It kinda affected everything.

Are you using v2.5.0 or v2.5.1 ? Try with a different version, in a different folder (including temporary directory), with a new analysis name, and so on. Opening with the approach explained here (point 5) should still work: [Using standalone CalculiX](https://prepomax.discourse.group/t/using-standalone-calculix/846)

I’m using v2.5.0 at the moment. Should I do extra stuff to be able to run the v2.5.1 because according to my knowledge it still is in development.

No, v2.5.1 is a dev (not stable) version, but installation is the same - just unpack it in a folder where admin rights are not needed.

The approach you linked is downloading the GraphiX, right?

Yes, from here: [https://www.dhondt.de/](https://www.dhondt.de/)

You can also try converting to ParaView format since ParaView is more convenient for postprocessing: [Converting results to ParaView format](https://prepomax.discourse.group/t/converting-results-to-paraview-format/453)

Does this model run and open properly for you ?

Unfortunately I can not see results in this either. Same error message. The analysis I ran probably affected the previous and future analysis results at the moment. By the way, I followed the instructions in the topic you linked and when I try to run the command ccx\_static file\_name even with admin or not I get “ccx\_static’ is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.” message.

You don’t have to use ccx\_static if you already have the .frd file from PrePoMax run. Just skip to the cgx\_glut command. But make sure that the CalculiX binaries are in the same folder as the .frd file or added to Windows PATH (points 2 and 3 in the linked thread about standalone CalculiX).

I moved my .frd file to the calculix\_2.23\_4win and ran the cmd in admin with the prompt of “cgx\_GLUX yeni\_final.frd” but i got the same previous message. Also, I’m not that knowledgable this kind of stuff. I don’t understand what do you mean by “make sure that the CalculiX binaries are in the same folder as the .frd file or added to Windows PATH”

I figured it out, I will do my best to get the results right now. If possible I would like to contact again, if something happens again. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, you can do it like this:

 ![yeni_final_frd](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/free1/uploads/prepomax/original/2X/3/3f4bf3b0a72534c13da51b911f40f970f1d0ecae.jpeg)

There’s still a bug to solve here, but let’s discuss the rest (analysis setup) separately. Hit me up anytime.

</div>

The problem is the distributed mass. It creates nodal masses in the background for each node, and so for each mass, a material is output to the .frd file. The problem is that all materials have the same name, so they cannot be stored in the same dictionary.

I have fixed the problem, and the solution will be part of the new PrePoMax version.
